the day before the announcement!

it has been over a week since they announced the good news to him... but i dare not to post up this congratulations entry until we announced to the family...
after months (years, to be exact) of hardwork, and life full of hopes, his bosses called him into the glass room and congratulated him. his 'dream job' is now his, though effective next month, yet he has already hold the responsibilities now...
alhamdulillah... and we are really grateful for the new title given to him!
anyhow *+*kelip-kelip*+*, tunaikan lah segala nazar dan janji-janji anda dahulu, dan baru lah saya akan meminta jasa baik anda untuk membelikan saya kamera besar lagi berat yg baru!!!! sebagai hadiah naik pangkat!! *uuhhh uhhhh*

we held a small birthday celebration for mei lin at hard rock. small as in really small - intan, steve, me and 3 of mei lin other ex-colleagues.
while - *+*kelip-kelip*+* was in the other hall (same building) attending his ex-boss wedding. fortunately, i managed to catch them up - congratulated and joined them for after-wedding-party. so, *+*kelip-kelip*+* was caught for the first time in a club!

i made the pencil holder myself - when i got bored in the midst of my busy-ness at the office. so, who says that i dont have life?!
and i made a few for my colleagues too...
 
 
 
and they were all made from tissue-roll cardboard paper... except for this one, the owner allowed me to take this lil box from her, and wrapped it girlish-ly

La touched down and came out from the arrival hall around 8.30am. I brought her home, had breakfast (nasi lemak with rendang daging and paru pedas!!  ) and lepak2...
We went out from my house around 1pm, had her hair cut, and shot off to One Utama for the late lunch get together. As like other weekends, the traffic in OU was horrible! We reached OU around quarter past 3, and Nabil called few times suruh cepat, if not we would not have seats! La took over the driver seat (to find parking), while *+*kelip-kelip*+* and i ran to Chillis.
When the 2 of us met the rest of the family @ Chillis, it was like our other meetings - they were fine (without knowing there was a surprise awaiting!!). Nabil asked for table for 10 pax, and we got table for 10 (excluding La)! We ordered, and chit chatting gelak2...
When the food arrived, we took the pictures of the dishes.
Papa even said, 'amek gambar... amek gambar... kite tunjuk angah!'
The siblings pon posed ler amek gambar nak tunjuk kat angah... nak biar angah jeles tgk kite makan ramai2.... (coz she still couldnt find a parking space!)
La was so excited, sampai2 chillis, terus pelok papa and jerit 'surprise!!!!!!'
Everyone (except us) was terbangak2... and mcm tak percaye!!!!!
So, our surprise jadi lah!!!

The Surprise!!! -- Part 1

none of the keluarga 69 (the name my aunties called our big family) knew that my sister is coming back from Milano Due that weekend, except me and another sister.
so, it was a surprise! i had invited the family for makan-makan a week before her arrival (so that the family will be surprised seeing her at the restaurant...)..
btw, this is just the part 1 - the pre-surprise!!!
tak tahan tu.... nazila siap nak pegi potong rambut bagai... nak buat betol2 surprise lah katekan!!!
ps: papa kinda knew that she was coming back. but when he called my sister the day before her departure, he lost hope that she was coming back on that weekend... so, still a surprise lah!!
