date : 07.07.07
time : 7pm onwards...
it was my pleasure to be introduced to his new boss, maureen (since i havent met after left the company) and her spouse. and it was great to meet the team members (who once helped me out with my systems when i was still with the company) after months...
and they said that i look chubby now!!!!  (yeaaaahhh... i couldnt fit into my old pants and jeans anymore!!!  )

and today, hundred years later, a couple is celebrating on the arrival of their twins in the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
congratulations to both lina & joy on the arrival of ali noah and ali mikail (both around 2.4 and 2.5 kgs).

I WAS A TEACHER!

i was doing my morning ritual - reading nst online on this sunday morning. there was no big issue or write up abt altant*uya on weekends for me to follow-up, but when i saw this familiar face on my screen... i felt a bit teruja(*excited doowwhh)
she is known as tok chik among her great-grand-nephews and nieces. yeahhh... it may sounds a very long distance relationship, but in my family - there is no such thing as bau-bau bacang. everyone is closed to one another (and that was the reason why *+*kelip-kelip*+* got amazed when he first time saw the big family).
tok chik's fourth daughter (who she was pregnant off when when came to celebrate Merdeka in KL), Dr Beep was my public speaking lecturer, while her son-in-law, Mr Keiran thought me literature and creative writing. remember all my jakarta entries? it was at her daughter's place where we stayed.
reading the article, reminds me off my childhood times. papa always talked about his grand mother and aunties, who were great supporters of umn*o. even my 'tok perempuan' was one of them.
and i now remember, how could i not succeed in my teaching -practicum, and why some saw passions of teaching in me (it was never there instead!)... i was actually surrounded by 'cikgu-cikgu' laaa kaann! born in the cikgu-cikgu and educationalists environment (both grandparents from dad's side were cikgu, or pendidik!) unfortunately, it stops at my generation. none of my us (the great grand children) becomes a teacher or even a lecturer. and probably, i graduated wtih TESL degree by defaults! and ironically, im now working in a financial institution - helping people sorting out their money!
why didnt i become a teacher after graduated? this question remains un-answered.
but i remember coming back home one day and told my mother, 'tak nak jadi cikgu laaa.... when ask the students to write an essay on 'my favourite celebrity', guess laa what one of them wrote?'
mama asked, 'apa? shah rukh khan? mr bean?'
i stood up and said, 'taaaaaaaaakkk.... budak tuh tulis, 'my favourite celebrity is celebrity square!!'  '
the whole house gelak guling-guling sambil tahan air mata!!!!

time : 1 - 6pm
it has been a while since we last had the family get together and our BINGO session!! alhamdulillah, we managed to gather part of the family at villa 69 for makan2 and our anual BINGO game!!!
kids category: nawal won RM 12
adults category: uncle hafiz won RM 30!!!
moral of the game : shut up, keep quiet, dont brag - you will surely win. and also JGN TAMAK!!!
on 9/6, ilham (who shared the same bday as wawa) held his birthday party @ A&W pj. the kids really enjoyed playing the games, but we adults, only makaaaan....

one of my aunties said that it is haram to wish or celebrate birthday.
so, when it was her daughter's birthday... we only wished her 'selamat dot dot dot'... 
after 3 days of training in KL Main office (i stayed at their condo near jalan ampang throughout my training), my uncle treated us dinner on his daughter's birth-day.
it was jes a makan makan... 
thank you very much indeed...

things didnt go as she wished - not as per norm!
but, alhamdulillah - it went verrrryyy smooooth and successful..
the day she was deflowered - it was the day she held the handsome man on the big dais (they didnt walk together down the aisle, coz we followed the johor adat, whereby the groom had to pay toll before meeting the bride on the dais!)..
overall, it WAS beautiful and memorable ones!
congratulations Zurinna Raja Adam and Zul Zain!
