mak lang and i have planned to throw this party months back (after she saw the amusement of JUNE BABIES birthday bash)............ we determined to make it happen... Alhamdulillah and we are very very grateful that it turned up so overwhelming (oh! so under statement!)!!!
since mak lang, the kids and au pair are back for summer, we took the initiative to gather the family members (from far and near) - simultaneously, to enjoy and chill (they have envied seeing our gathering pictures that was full of joviality!!! they decided that they should throw one party too! to be in the pictures and to feel the joyous we normally have).. thus, we held one by the pool lagi... (only pak ude's family, and pak ngah's 3 daughters and mak lang's eldest daughter missed the merriment!!!)

The engagement ceremony (with relatives hanging around, chit chatting) ended almost 6pm (with the last family member left Rumah 69 at nearly 7)... *+*kelip-kelip*+* and i then rushed to get the paraphernalias for the so-called-after-engagement-party...
The party was especially held for Uncle D and Aunty As & family. Since they were flying back to the U.S of the A in less than 5 days, we gathered again at AR PLEIS.
I was glad that my cousins (the least expected ones) came early with a helper (yg penting tu....) so, by 8pm, my warrior husband officiated our balcony-party by showing off his BBQ skills there!!!
Due to the engagement ceremony started and ended quite late, everyone was already exhausted when the 'after party' started... thankfully, almost all invited guests came and meriuhkan suasana....
We had FUN - though the bbq smoke covered my lil tiny pad!

dengan sukacita dan teruja (excited) - nya adik saye selamat ditunangkan.
ini adelah adek saye, yg selepas saya (after me). dia kini menjawat jawatan sebagai au pair (sila klik kalau nak tau maknenye!) kepada mak lang saya, di kota fesyen terkemuka dunia, M ilan.
Au pair, au pair pon pakaiannye, tas tangannye, kasutnye, alat soleknye mengalahkan pegawai swasta, apetah lagi pengurus bank! Dengan itu, saye mengambil kesempatan berbuat baik (berpada-pada kata nenek saye yg kami panggil mak) dgn adik saya yg ini... manelah tau dia pulang nanti dia teringat dekat saye dan membelikan saye tas tangan jename hebat2... dan baju-baju... (alamak!!! die ade memberikan saye sehelai apron bergambar lucah ***ooopppsssss*** 2 minggu lalu, tapi sekarang saye tak tahu mane saye letak!!!! oh tiddaaaakkkkkkkk!!!! *** TERKINI ---> saye dah temui apron yg dimaksudkan....  )
Saye membebel panjang-panjang ini pun dari mengelak-kan diri saye dari membuka topik hangat di hari pertunangan adik saye itu - topiknye adalah 'MASA ITU E MAS' (dalam kes ini, MASA ITU E MAS PUTIH - sbb adik saye disarungkan cincin emas putih). Papa dan mama saye akan marah kalau saye mengungkit topik itu... ianya kini sudah menjadi topik T ABOO ...
Oleh itu, marilah kite melihat gambar-gambar nye aje yer... Komen lah seniri....
Oh! Mungkin anda tertanya-tanya, 'dia bertunang dgn org itali ke?' - jawapannye... adik saye bertunang dgn lelaki melayu yg cukup sifatnye, yg cukup lemah lembutnye, yg cukup baik budi-nye... papa saye panggil dia 'salleh ya akob' (takkan mamat itali muke mcm tuh ye dak?)...

At the Green House...

i called off my lil-reunion-party and kelip-kelip managed to escape from his annual dinner. we made our way down south to attend the family gathering - to see tok puan smiling and happy again!!!
since uncle d and aunty as are back for holiday, 3 quarter of the family members gathered on that very special night... i heard that laughing i grew up with, that night. i heard the old jokes that always put a smile to everyone's faces, that night... i saw the people i called my blood, that nite! i was glad that i was part of that night...
we made the Green House brighter and jes like the normal ambience we usually had during eid. except for no blinking lights and fireworks! (oh! so looking forward to go back and celebrate Eid this year!!!)
but all of us had one thing in common.... we missed embah. (oh no! Eid without him?)
it hit us hard when there was no one to recite that piece of doa, which he always had. as per practice, before anyone left the Green House, embah would always request us to recite Al-Fatihah to those who have left us, but on that night, we were speechless... without being told, everyone faced the Qiblat and recited the penghulu segala doa for him... Al-Fatihah..........

Gratefully, Allah heard our lil prayers and granted another meeting...
this time around, hana hosted the brunch - to celebrate her end-of-confinement. (boleh jugak eh? ) itu hanya alasan nye saje!!! padahal...........

it has been a while since we last updated...
since *+*kelip-kelip*+* has his shares in this fp, it wouldnt be fair if most of the entries are on me or us. he hardly has HIS own entry.
so, this is going to be one...
after working like drudgers for more than a year (to set up a new centre in heart of KL), the telecom team was treated with nice meals. the party was held in Chillis, BSC on Sunday noon. the head of telecom, jim d onald (who is based in Hyde rabad - hey! sounds familiar!!!) showed his appreciation by joining the team, and congratulate each of them on the successful project!
so, what do the wives-who-havent-got-to-spend-enough-quality-time-with-the-workhaholic-husbands get in return?
to post a joyous entry!!!
